According to the Telegraph, several  UK Government email addresses are among details  ‘uploaded by The Impact Team’.  Data appears to include card details, usernames and sexual fantasies. This hack will cause millions of adulterous members to be fearful as their data is made public

According to the website Political Scrapbook, there are 92 Ministry of Defence email addresses among the leaked details.

The website has found 1,716 email addresses from universities and further education colleges, using the .ac.uk suffix; 124 using .gov.uk; 92 using .mod.uk; 65 local education authorities and schools using .sch.uk; 56 National Heath Service emails and less than 50 police emails (.police.uk)

Michelle Thomson, one of the SNP’s newly-elected Westminster MPs, has said one of her email addresses is among the leaked data dumped online by hackers.

The married MP said someone had stolen her email address and used it without her knowledge. (yeah, right)

She said: “Along with potentially millions of others, an out-of-use email address seems to have been harvested by hackers. I am not aware of or in contact with either Avid Life or Ashley Madison and look forward to finding out more about what has actually happened.

“However, having a personal email address linked to an account doesn’t mean that person is really a user of Ashley Madison. Users are able to sign up to the site without responding to an email verification, meaning anyone’s email address could have been used to create an account.”

Personal details of up to 32 million users of the site, which has the tagline “Life is short. Have an affair” have started to emerge online.

One American man, a banker, is said to have signed up to the adultery site because he had a “sex drive too high to handle”.

“I need someone who is more sexual,” the man is reported as saying as he decribed his sexual fantasies and explaining why he is being unfaithful to his wife. “I need someone who is willing to try anything.”

Another US-based Ashley Madison member, who admits he is married, says he is looking for a woman “good with her hands” and who likes “kinky fun, erotic movies and dressing up”.

Meanwhile, it has been reported that the most popular username on the site is “Talldarkhandsome”.
