Her career that has seen her billed alongside many afrobeats greats, Her single Ten Ten’ was A-Listed on UK’s Choice FM Radio making it the 2nd Afrobeat song to be playlisted on a UK Commercial Radio, after Dbanj’s “Oliver Twist” I In June 2011 May7ven Joined Ginuwine and J Holiday to perform at The London O2 Arena where she introduced single “Number” . In 2012, she won the BEFFTA Awards for Best UK Afrobeats Artist and Screen Nation Award for Best UK Afrobeats promo in 2015

Dele Achiever

 

Dele Achiever or the Goddess of songs as she is popularly known is the first female Juju performer in the UK. Based in London, D1 who started her singing career back in Surulere, Lagos, was once described as Sunny Ade in a frock. She is the first ever winner of the Nigerian Events Awards UK Outstanding Live Band Performer Award in 2013.

With her sultry looks and perfectly slim body she can easily be mistaken for a model on a photo shoot but her natural grace topped with her perfect singing talent makes her the most in demand and number one Female Nigerian entertainer in London.

Carol Jiani

 

 Carol Jiani was born to Igbo parents in Nigeria from where she moved to Canada in the early 70s. Soon she found her way into the music industry and in 1978 released her first single. She continued recording and releasing tracks that made it on to US billboards. She relocated to the UK in the 80s and released some more hits until early until the late 90s. In the late 2000s, she made a return to the Entertainment scene and released a few more tracks and still performs till today. She is a regular on the Major Corporate, Networking and Awards Events scene and is highly in demand as events entertainer.

Roucheon is Nigerian by virtue of her marriage to Producer Femi Iloyi. A soul singer songwriter originally from Zimbabe, Roucheon is also a Hip hop artist and Producer. DJ Linda Jacks Babylynn is a top female DJ based in London. Linda is however also a radio presenter and Artists Promoter – one of the very few females in that field. DJ 1st Lady X is the first Nigerian Lady of her era to delve into the path of being a non radio DJ, providing musical services on demand for private parties and corporate events. She is a corporate worker by day and a blown in the wind, wherever music takes her by night. This explains the ‘DJ 1st Lady’ part of her name. The ‘X’ part alludes to her private and mysterious side. In maths, they’re always trying to “Find X”. Started in 2007, her specialities include (but not limited to) 80/90s rare groove, Afro beats. She plays regularly at one of the major dance bars in London but guests performs alongside other male counterparts at other venues and major events and shows.

Another top name in the London Entertainment Industry, Bunmi Apanisile aka Bunmi West is a female comedian, Events Host, Kiddies Party Entertainer and Traditional Engagements’ Host (Alaga Iduro) who has ben in the industry for many years.

Bunmi West is well known and well liked due to her friendly, easy to approach disposition.

Abiola started out as a Praise and Worship leader in her church but her high energy and massive talent has taken her beyond the church to perform at Christian parties all around the capital city and beyond. Another Award Winning performer.

Dupe BnS

 

Rather than being a performer herself, Dupe is more of a performers supporter and promoter. She runs the popular Yoruba performers joint, BnS in East London. BnS had played host to many established artistes and performers like Mr Solek, Igi Sekele, Diya Ojo, Larry King, Sunny Melody and many others and is hugely favored by East London big boys. Many Yoruba entertainment stars and artistes visiting from Nigeria also make it a point to visit BnS while in London.
