The attention of regular social media live apps are being drawn to the embarrassing and humiliating incidences that can occur especially when phones are left unattended but still in the app mode.
This is coming following the unfortunate incident that saw an Instagram star being left red-faced when she accidentally live streamed a sex session with her boyfriend to 14,000 people.
Kristen Hancher, from LA, was getting hot and heavy with her partner, Andrew Gregory, without realising she had recorded the entire thing for three whole minutes.
It was then posted live on her Instagram story, of which 14,000 of her 3.9 million followers were watching at the time.
Thankfully, the phone was faced down, but managed to pick up audio of the pair getting steamy.
After realising her huge gaffe, Kristen immediately took the post down from her social media site.
Speaking to her followers, she said: “‘Whoever saw my live, I just wanna apologise; that was totally NOT intentional. Delete it from your mind.
“That was super embarrassing and super uncomfortable.
“But for real, guys, s*** happens. Accidents happen. You have to move and and pretend like it never happened and go on with your life. That’s what I’m gonna do.
She added: ‘I apologise to all my fan pages. I know you all have been upset because I never gave you guys a full explanation. On what happened on my live.
“On my Instastory. I accidentally went live and found out three minutes later and 14,000 people were watching. I am so sorry.”
