Ijebu Age Grade Group “Egbe Bobagunte” Admits Ogun Guber Candidate, Dapo Abiodun As Member

One of the prominent age grade sociocultural groups in Ijebuland, the Egbe Bobagunte (Okunrin) Akile Ijebu, has conferred its membership on the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun,MFR.

The age group, committed to upholding the rich culture and traditions of Ijebu people comprises those born between 1959 and 1961.

The letter conveying the message to the Ogun governorship hopeful signed by Otunba Adesanya Yusuf, the Giwa Egbe and Otunba Bobaseilu of Ijebuland, stated that the leadership of the group has watched, with keen interest, Prince Abiodun’s unprecedented achievements, giant strides in business, community development and politics with enormous potentials to influence more developmental policies.

Egbe Bobagunte, according to Giwa Adesanya Yusuf comprises worthy individuals of repute who have contributed and are still contributing to the overall development of Ijebuland by way of community development initiatives, philanthropic gestures and enhancing investment of the area in all fields of human endeavours.

It is against this backdrop that the entire membership of the age grade, unanimously resolved to confer membership of Egbe Bobagunte (Okunrin), Akile Ijebu on the frontline politician from Iperu-Remo, being one of their own having been born within the age bracket and exhibiting exemplary qualities expected of a thoroughbred blue blood.

The age group wished Prince Dapo Abiodun, MFR best of luck in his pursuit of his aspiration to govern Ogun State.
