Top UK Nigerian community leader Dr Dayo Olomu, has been appointed to the Board of Education, Southwark Diocesan Board of Education, Chaired by the Revd Jonathan Clark, the Bishop of Croydon.
The news was broken on social media by the past Chairman of the Central Association of Nigerians in the UK (CANUK) Chief Bimbo Roberts-Folayan on Saturday morning .
Popularly known as DDO, Dr Olomu would be the first Nigerian to be appointed to the Board.
Dr Dayo, a renowned Personal Development Trainer and Business Success Coach is also a motivated speaker and youth mentor. He is the Chairman of Chartered Institute for Personal Development (CIPD) South London branch, a post he has held for several years .
He organis3s and hosts holds several leadership and success workshops and seminars both in the UK and in Nigeria for young people, new and established businesses and organisations and church leaders.
These he hrough fulfils through his outfit, the Dayo Olomu Foundation, which also aims to impact the lives of 1000 Nigerians living in Nigeria by 2020 – a project which he has named “Project 1000”
The unstoppable facilitator has been presented with many awards and accolades on both sides of the Atlantic for his passionate contribution to the development of the Nigerian youth both in the UK and in Nigeria , for his leadership support to the UK Nigerian Diasporan community and as a global iconic toastmaster and events compere.
The committed philanthropist has supported and raised funds for many good UK causes through various activities such as twice completing the London Marathon and taking part in the London – Brighton walk in 2015
Dr Dayo is a consumate faith, family, fitness, friends and finance adherent. He believes and preaches that no one who must succeed in life must do without any of the 5 Fs or life or lose focus on any of them.
