Three men have been arrested by detectives investigating the murder of a teenager in Croydon.
A 19-year-old was arrested on suspicion of murder on Wednesday, 17 August and remains in custody at a south London police station.
Two other men also 19, arrested on suspicion of murder in the early hours of Wednesday, 17 August remain in custody at separate south London police stations.
Police were called at approximately 19:40 hrs on Tuesday, 16 August to reports of a man injured in Heather Way, South Croydon.
Officers, London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance attended and discovered a man suffering stab injuries. He was taken to hospital where he subsequently died.
Next of kin are aware and the victim can be named as Andre Aderemi, aged 19, who lived in Chatham, Kent.
The victim”s sister Sheniqua told the Advertiser that she didn’t like her older brother being in that area because she didn’t think it was safe..
She said: “I wish Andre did not go back to that area.
“He used to live there and people would start trouble at his house so he moved out with his mother but missed his friends so would go back
A post-mortem examination is scheduled to take place today, Thursday, 18 August, at Croydon.
Officers from the Homicide and Major Crime Command (HMCC) investigate.
